Who is this for?
At 4 months of age (corrected), a baby’s sleep cycles begin to mirror those of adults. During this transition, many formerly great sleepers suddenly begin to struggle (the infamous 4 month sleep regression!). For babies who already struggled with sleep, their struggles often become even greater during this period.
What is included?
– Detailed intake form regarding current sleep habits, schedule, and goals
-Up to 60-minute consultation via phone
-Detailed written healthy habits sleep plan emailed to you within 48 hours after the consultation
-Daily email and sleep log review (Up to 3 email responses per day) for the selected period
One-Week Cost: $195
Two Week Cost: $295
*Please Note: A consistent pattern of long naps most often does not develop until close to 6 months of age.
My primary goal with this age group is to work on developing healthy sleep habits. Children who were particularly fussy as newborns or who have a hard time adapting to change are often better suited to wait until 6 months of age for formal sleep training. However, easy going babies often do very well with sleep training once they hit 16 weeks of age (corrected)
I am happy to work with all babies to develop a healthy foundation at a pace that works for both baby and parents. The one week option is best for parents who would like help getting started, but are comfortable continuing on their own. The two-week option is best for parents who would like additional assistance and support. With both options parents should understand that while we will work on a nap schedule that keeps baby from getting overtired, it is very normal for babies of this age to take short, erratic naps. Most babies are not biologically able to connect sleep cycles for long naps until close to 6 months of age.
